Our firm is supported by an experienced and friendly team who have extensive professional banking and finance industry backgrounds and who excel in customer service and efficiency.

We have specialist support staff who understand the transport, earthmoving and excavation, manufacturing, engineering and mining industry sectors as well as the requirements of skilled tradesmen and professionals.

Paul Burke

Business Founder/ Consultant

After being involved with the business since the 1980’s, Paul has in recent years entered into semi-retirement although he still maintains an interest in the future of the business via his role as a consultant to the current partners and staff. Paul’s family and grandchildren are the forefront of his life however, in his leisure time he enjoys playing social bowls and he has an interest in the thoroughbred horse racing industry.

Alex Felici

Partner

Alex commenced with the firm in January 2001 as an Associate before becoming a Partner in 2006.

Alex specialises in all aspects of Equipment Finance particularly in the Transport, Earthmoving/Excavation and Engineering industries.

Outside of work Alex enjoys following all types of sports, travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Greg Molloy

Partner

Greg joined the business in July 2005 having been previously employed by Macquarie Bank in its Macquarie Capital Division where he was arranging finance facilities for large corporate and government entities. Greg has extensive banking and finance experience and he also holds a degree in a Bachelor of Business (Economics & Finance).  

Greg is one of the Partners of the firm and he is ably supported by the firms Operations Manager and Administration Support staff. Within the firm Greg specialises in equipment finance and provides finance solutions for all Capital Equipment requirements.  

Away from the office Greg enjoys time at the gym, family time on his boat and enjoying a nice red wine.

Noel Pratt

Associate

Noel commenced in August 2012 after operating as a Finance Broker in his own right for 22 years specialising in all facets of Equipment Finance lending.  Prior to this, Noel spent 28 years with the ANZ Bank and the last 9 on those years as a Branch Manager at Buladelah and Warrawong.

Away from work Noel enjoys playing golf regularly and visiting family in Melbourne and Singapore.

Brian Goody

Operations Manager

Brian is a finance specialist who commenced with the firm in April 2021, and he has extensive experience in equipment finance, cash flow lending, trade finance as well as a sound knowledge of banking and finance.

Brian’s role is to support the partners and their associate in delivering simple and stress free finance solutions for the firm’s clients. Our goal is to provide the very best finance solutions to the firm’s clients so that they can concentrate on their business operations and their clients.

Away from work Brian enjoys exploring the great outdoors, wood working and generally spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Gary Nicholl

Mortgage Specialist

Gary is a mortgage loan specialist who joined our firm in April 2013 after operating as a self-employed Mortgage Broker since 2002. Gary has enviable industry experience gained from over 45 years within the Financial Services industry holding senior positions with numerous Banks and Financial Institutions during this time.

Away from work Gary enjoys a leisurely game of golf and sharing time with family and friends.

Chantel is a mortgage loan specialist who joined our firm in in November 2024 having previously worked within Business Banking and Mortgages for Macquarie, CBA, Westpac, St George, as well as a Mortgage Broker for an accounting firm. 

Chantel aims to provide tailored solutions for all your Home Lending needs.

Outside of the office environment Chantel teaches Yoga and Reformer Pilates.

Megan Scrase

Administration Support

Megan joined the business in 2018 and has excellent administration experience having previously worked in the legal industry. Megan assists with the day to day running of the office and liaises with clients to assist with their enquiries and she also provides support to the partners by preparing the firm’s finance documentation and application submissions as well as general office administration support. 

When not in the office Megan enjoys baking and spending time with her friends and young family.

Diane Sanderson

Administration Support

Diane joined Mike Hughes and Partners in April 2024. Diane is an experienced Administrative/Accounts Assistant with a demonstrated history working in the accounting industry. Diane is also currently studying a Bachelor of Laws degree.

When not at work, Diane enjoys the beach, live theatre, music, restaurants and spending time with family and friends.
